Non-destructive testing or NDT represent the control or testing of welded joints, metallic materials, pipes, forgings or castings by methods that do not disturb the structure or geometry of the test sample, in order to find imperfections that are further classified according to a particular standard and interpreted whether the test sample continues to be used.
